Our Story

Welcome to Adaptive Designs.

Adaptive Designs is owned and operated by a disabled Canadian living in Ontario. After being injured in 2018, I needed to find something that challenged me as well as motivated me, after looking for something that achieved that I discovered fdm 3d printing.

After getting accustomed with 3d printing and the software i decided to design a cupholder for my wheelchair, after which my neighbors took interest and I was able to make one for a few different chair styles.

After that i decided to start looking into the market and there seemed to be a gap in the market for modular custom cupholders. There are different types of holders but none that suited mine or my neighbors needs or taste.

That was the beginning of Adaptive Designs.
